Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf and will supervise any payments.

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. One person, one account.

Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at soma@blueverse.africa if you think someone else has accessed it.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us.

Creating an account is free. The dashboard, The Verse, Blue V, campaigns and The Forge are available without payment.

Courses are paid. The price is shown in Naira before you enroll, and payment is processed by Paystack. Enrolling gives you personal access to that course, mentor feedback on your weekly builds while the course runs, and access to the course's mentor network where one exists. Course access is for you alone and can't be shared or resold.

We may change prices for future enrollments. A price change never affects a course you have already paid for.

If a course you paid for isn't delivered as described (for example, lessons are missing or no mentor reviews your work), contact us and we will fix it, move you to another course or refund you.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack. Your bank may take a few working days to show it.

Mentors are independent practitioners, not employees of BlueVerse. They review submitted builds and give feedback, but we don't guarantee any particular result, job, client or income from a course.

Certificates are issued when you complete a course and your capstone is approved. A certificate is linked to your public capstone so others can verify it. BlueVerse is an independent institution: our certificates are not government-accredited qualifications.

You own your work. The builds, capstones and other content you create stay yours.

When you submit work or post on the Platform, you give BlueVerse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, display and share it on the Platform (including on your public Forge portfolio and certificate page) and to feature it in BlueVerse promotion, always with credit to you. You can ask us to stop featuring a piece of work in future promotion at any time.

Only post work you have the right to share. You are responsible for any third-party material, music, footage or AI-generated content in your work and for following the terms of the tools you use.

BlueVerse is a place to build. When you use The Verse, direct messages, comments or our WhatsApp communities, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone
• post sexual content, hate speech, violence or anything illegal
• spam, run scams, or promote other platforms or schemes
• post someone else's work as your own, or share private information about others
• fake views, engagement or submissions, or try to cheat campaigns or referral rewards
• interfere with the Platform, scrape it, or try to access accounts or data that aren't yours

Moderators may remove content and warn, suspend or remove members who break these rules. WhatsApp groups are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms.

BlueVerse offers ways to earn: campaigns (paid per verified views or per approved UGC video), BlueVerse Studio projects, referral rewards, and, for mentors and Heads of Mentor, a share of course revenue.

• Each campaign, project or programme has its own rates and requirements, shown before you take part. Those details form part of these terms.
• Earnings are only paid for verified, genuine activity. Earnings from fake views, bots, self-referrals or other abuse are cancelled, and the account may be removed.
• Payouts go to the bank account you verify in your payout details, on the schedule shown for that programme. You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn.

Mentors, Heads of Mentor and Campus Leads also agree to the separate agreement for their role, which covers revenue share, course content and conduct.

Blue V and other AI tools on the Platform can make mistakes. Use their output as a starting point and check anything important. Don't enter other people's personal information or anything confidential into AI tools.

The Platform, course materials, the BlueVerse and Blue V names and logos, and our design belong to BlueVerse or the mentors who created the courses. You may use course materials for your own learning only. Don't copy, record, resell or redistribute them.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other members at risk, or is involved in fraud. Where it is fair and safe to do so, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

If we close your account for a serious breach, you may lose access to paid courses and any earnings linked to the breach.

We work hard to keep the Platform running and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.

As far as the law allows, BlueVerse is not responsible for indirect losses, lost income or lost opportunities arising from your use of the Platform, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that can't be limited.

We may update these terms as BlueVerse grows. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the Platform before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We'll try to resolve it with you directly. If we can't, disputes will be handled by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
